Here We Go!!

Introductions: So why should you bother to follow yet another beauty blog? My name is Kari, and I think I have the experience some bloggers lack in the field of beauty. I am a practicing makeup artist in my area here in Las Vegas with many years of experience. I do everything from brides, and special events, to high fashion/runway for models. What I enjoy most though is what I call my "Fairy Godmother Makeovers". I love showing a woman who has hardly worn makeup in her life, and perhaps not spoiled herself often enough, how beautiful she really is. I find these experiences to be surprisingly transformative for some women, giving them confidence they never knew they had once they see how beautiful they really are. That's why I don't think makeup/beauty is simply superficial. It affects the way we are seen by others, and the way we see ourselves. Our world may be overly visual, and place too much value on appearances, but I think there is a happy balance somewhere in between where caring for yourself helps you better care for those you love. I want to integrate my knowledge specifically about skin care into this blog. an often overlooked category that I think is integral to overall appearance. You only have one face I always say, TAKE CARE OF IT! You really have to begin with a prepped canvas in order to make your artistic vision of yourself come to light. I will also include product reviews of the things I am currently using and like, as well as tried and true tips for doing your own makeup. I am also a wife and mother of three gorgeous daughters that I love more than life. Keeps me pretty busy, but I love it!
